To represent our more than 10,000 members’ interests effectively and efficiently, board directors are elected for 3-year terms.
These directors play a crucial role in determining the strategic direction and priorities of SCEC.
Their input and guidance are key as the co-op keeps the lights on today and works to anticipate and meet our members’ future energy needs.

The Cooperative’s Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, as approved by the State of Wisconsin in 1937, describe in a very detailed way the purpose of the Cooperative and the general requirements and restrictions for its operation.
