SCAM ALERTS! Lightning Rods, IRS, Past Due Bills

HAMMOND, Wis., Feb. 10, 2016 - Just six weeks into 2016 and a rush of scams have hit St. Croix County and neighboring areas. Unfortunately, in some cases, the scammers have been successful. The scams include false lightning rod repair, con artists claiming to call from the IRS and individuals posing as utility employees calling a customer and demanding payment or face disconnection.
