OUTAGE: 1/18/2021

UPDATE @ 11 pm: Crews in the field report they expect to restore power within 2 hours (by 1 am) - possibly sooner. Again, thank you for your patience as we restore power as quickly and safely as we can.

An outage affecting 1,000+ services in the towns of Hudson and St. Joseph is due to a power supply issue at the Trout Brook station. SCEC and Dairyland Power Cooperative crews are working on determining the cause. Until the cause is determined we cannot estimate a time of restoral. Thank you for your patience.

From the Board Room: September 2020

All eligible active members will receive capital credit as bill credit, not check.

May Membership Matters

In this month's Membership Matters, SCEC CEO/President Brian R. Zelenak writes about what SCEC is doing to help those most affected by the economic disruption, including the #PowerOn Bill Credit Program.

New office hours

Beginning Monday, April 27 SCEC office hours will be 7:30 to 4:00 p.m.

The closing of the lobby March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic eliminated walk-in traffic, and the co-op was still maintaining its office hours of 7:30-4 p.m. This change means calls received after 4:00 p.m. will be answered by a call center representative rather than an SCEC employee.

Members are encouraged to make online bill payments through SmartHub
