OUTAGES: 9/20/2018

UPDATE @ 9:20PM: Crew is onsite at County road E outage. Estimated 15-20 minutes for restoration of power.

UPDATE @ 9:05PM: Power has been restored to approximately 300 members in Warren. Crew en route to address outage caused in Town of Hammond on County Road E; ETA 20 minutes.

8/27/2018 Storm Outages

7:55 PM: Power has been restored along Cove Road in the southwestern corner of SCEC territory. The SCEC crew is now en route to the northeastern corner. No estimated time of restoral at this time.

OUTAGE: 8/20/18

UPDATE: A tree fell through the line on County Road V. All power restored as of 5:30PM, except one account where tree hit line.

URD inspections begin in west central territory

Today (Aug. 15) a crew from Karcz Utility Services began inspecting the green, ground-mounted transformers in areas served by the Troutbrook (orange), Warren (green) and Hammond (yellow) substations in the west central part of SCEC’s service area (see map). More crews will join them next week.

Outages: 6/26 & 6/27

Members in the towns of Forest and Black Brook experienced outages:

Tuesday, June 26: 29 members were without power due to a small animal. Power went out at 4:25pm and was restored by 5:45pm

May Outage Update

To our St. Croix Electric Cooperative members affected by recent power outages:

We understand your frustration and displeasure with the recent power outages, and we want you to know we are doing all we can to ensure your service continues uninterrupted.

UPDATED OUTAGE: 5/30/2018

UPDATE: As of 7:20 p.m. all power was restored to those affected by a tree falling on a line in the Town of Warren.

UPDATE @ 6:00 pm: Restoration is estimated at 2 hours. 

A tree fell into the line near 100th Avenue in the Town of Warren burning through one phase of it and is still currently arcing, burning through a 2nd phase. Police and fire personnel are still on-site, along with one St. Croix Electric crew and a second one is en route.
