Due to a promotion in our Member Services Department we are now recruiting for a Member Services Technician. We will train the right person in our industry.

We provide electric energy and other valued services to more than 11,000 customer accounts in and around St. Croix County. The primary duties of this position are to maintain utility owned energy management control equipment at customer locations. Also provides trade allies and customers with information about the use and interconnection of electric equipment used for space heating, water heating, air conditioning, and irrigation loads with the peak energy management control system.

This position completes on-site electric use analysis at customer locations and performs routine and light maintenance of the cooperative’s headquarters facility systems.

Qualified applicants will have one-year of post high school technical training and three years of experience in a service related position and have a basic understanding of electric theory and 120/240 volt circuits. The ability to read wiring diagrams, follow established procedures, diagnose and resolve equipment problems is needed. Must be able to use hand tools and basic electric testing equipment.

This is a safety critical position. Work is performed in all weather conditions and physical dexterity and mobility is required. Basic computer skills are needed and the ability to effectively communicate technical information and provide great customer service is required.
