EV charging station active

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, St. Croix Electric Cooperative activated our Clipper Creek High Power (Level 2) Electric Vehicle Charge Station on the northwest side of the parking area in front of our headquarters in Hammond. It is listed on the charging station finder PlugShare, available both online and in an app. If you care to look you can find us here.

A big thank you to Member Services Technician Clint Crowley (far left) for his hard work in getting the station up and running and also to Member Services Representative Todd Johnson, President/CEO Brian Zelenak and Director Member Services Jeff Wahlquist for their roles in the project.

The charging station came from Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC), the generation and transmission cooperative (G&T) who provides US the energy we provide to YOU, our members.

SCEC, in partnership with DPC, offers energy efficiency incentives including a $500 rebate on charging stations and discounted rates for controlled charging.
