Engineering Technician - Metering

This position offers the variety of working in an office and outdoors throughout the St. Croix County area. This position will interest you if you are detailed orientated, proficient in the use of basic computer software, and have good analytical, math and customer service skills.

Following a training period, this position will assist with the day-to-day duties of the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of the Automated Metering Infrastructure system serving more than 11,000 accounts. Other duties include the set up, programming and testing of various meter types and the proper application of their use. 

Qualified applicants must have at least one year of post high school education in a technical, electrical or related field, and demonstrated computer proficiency and three years of directly related work experience. This position requires the ability to work safely and independently to resolve problems, and be organized and accurate in performing reoccurring tasks. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.

A salary based on experience and qualifications is offered along with medical life and LTD insurance with vacation, sick leave, pension and 401k benefits.
