ELECTRIC SERVICE FROM ST. CROIX ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE
On May 24, 1939, the first meter was installed on St. Croix Electric Cooperative lines and the lights were turned on - a milestone nearly two years in the making for the farmers of St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Today, St. Croix Electric Cooperative serves more than 11,000 member accounts in the county that has retained its rural roots, but also embraced its proximity to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with a growing population.
