Budget Billing
Are your bills too high during certain times of the year? St. Croix Electric has a billing plan to fit your needs. Call the Billing Department at 715-796-7000 for help with budgeting your monthly energy payments.
Public Benefits Program
St. Croix Electric's Public Benefits Program offers energy assistance to qualifying low-income individuals or families who are customers of SCEC. In addition to energy conservation assistance, funds are used to provide credits on qualified participants' electric bills.
If your household income does not exceed 150% of the federal poverty level, you may be eligible for electric bill credits through this assistance program. If you have already qualified or are eligible for heating bill assistance in the county in which you live, you may also qualify for electric bill paying assistance through the co-op.
Start the process by calling your county's office of Human Services (in St. Croix County, call 715-246-6991).
The co-op will need you to complete an information release form after you have spoken with the County. The on-line form is available here.
