QUALIFY FOR A FREE ELECTRIC WATER HEATER

New homes and businesses built on St. Croix Electric lines may qualify for free water heaters!

You may be eligible to receive an energy efficient 80 gallon electric water heater free of charge from St. Croix Electric if you are building new on our lines. For absolutely no charge to you, we will deliver your free water heater to your building site and install an EnergySaver management switch to help reduce the use of electricity during times of peak demand.

Benefits of the EnergySaver program include a $3.00 monthly credit on your electric bill and participation in our low cost water heater maintenance program, which includes repair, parts (limited to the element, thermostat, and T & P valves), and labor during working hours for $25.

You may be eligible for our low off peak electric rate if you install in-floor heat, another qualifying electric heating system, or central air conditioning at the same time you install your water heater. Utilizing an electric heat source may be required for lower rates.
